How to choose the right electronic flavor?

If you are new to the world of vaping and trying to choose the best e-juice, you may feel overwhelmed by all the different options you come across. Which is more important: the flavor or the strength of nicotine? Can I mix two flavors or should I stick to just one? And what is the difference between VG and PG? All of these questions can confuse a beginner Fiberger. So, here is a list of things you should keep in mind before choosing the best e-liquid for your device.

Choosing the right nicotine concentration

A beginner's Fibergine may be confused about how to choose the right nicotine level for him or her. This is critical because too little nicotine may not give a pleasurable effect to the smoker, while too much nicotine can cause headaches and nausea. The general rule is that if you are a heavy cigarette smoker, you will want to choose the strongest e-juice, which usually contains 18 mg of nicotine. On the other hand, if you are a light smoker, a moderate e-juice containing 12 mg of nicotine will suffice. Many smokers trying to quit usually start with higher levels of nicotine and then gradually decrease over time.

Lots of flavors to choose from!

Flavor is very important when choosing an e-liquid. If you don't like the flavor, it may put you off vaping altogether. Fortunately, e-liquids come in a variety of flavours, to suit each person's preferences such as cocktails, fruity, food, and tobacco mixes. If you are a beginner in using electronic cigarettes, it is recommended that you start with flavors that closely match your favorite brand of cigarettes. Over time, get more adventurous and try unique foods and fruit flavors, such as grapes, watermelon, candy or even pizza! For the more experienced figurine, you can also mix different flavors to get unique cocktail combinations.

Don't forget the VG/PG ratio

VG (vegetable glycerol) and PG (propylene glycol) are two important compounds, which form the basis of almost all e-juices. Choosing the right proportions of these compounds can make or break the whole experience fun.

Many users find that PG has a strong flavor and therefore prefer to use it in smaller quantities. A few users also reported that PG causes dry mouth. On the other hand, VG usually has a sweet or fruity flavor. Some users have reported tingling in the throat with VG. To get the right VG/PG ratio will take you a bit of trial and error. For beginner fibres, it is recommended to start with a 50/50 ratio and adjust quantities according to your needs later.

Keeping all the above points in mind, go ahead and find the perfect flavors for you. You'll need to do a little experimentation, with the different flavors, nicotine content, and VG/PG ratio. This trial-and-error method is definitely part of the fun of the entire tweaking experience. Also, always make sure to invest in quality e-liquids, from well-known manufacturers, as the cheaper ones may contain dangerous chemicals.
