How do electronic cigarettes save lives compared to smoking?

The number of people using e-cigarettes and vaporizers has been on the rise over the past few years. E-cigarettes are legal and can be used by people 18 years of age and older. Studies show that more smokers who died from smoking could be alive with e-cigarettes and vaping. Everyone agrees that cigarettes cause a lot of harm to consumers and passive smokers.

E-cigarette users are not exposed to carcinogens and chemicals compared to traditional smokers as much as they do harm, which is not comparable to conventional smoking. Statistics show that tobacco kills more than 490,000 people a year in the United States of America. That's more than those who died from alcohol abuse, car accidents and drug use. Since the introduction of e-cigarettes, the numbers have dropped dramatically. Smokers who have tried to quit smoking in the past years are advised to change to e-cigarettes, not because it is safe but less harmful to the body. Today, vaping has become the new trend and the most successful way to quit smoking for good. Traditional smokers who switch to e-cigarettes have high chances of quitting smoking for good in two years or less.

There have been debates about whether e-cigarette use should be banned because it attracts more smokers who have never smoked before. But to be realistic once vaping is banned, smokers who used to use e-cigarettes to quit will revert to normal smoking habits that pose a significant risk to their health.

Traditional smokers not only affect the health of their bodies, but also the health of those around them. Once cigarette smoke is emitted into the air, the people around the smoker will inhale the smoke. This is harmful to everyone, even children. Most smokers light their cigarettes anywhere that can cause lung cancer, strokes, and cardiovascular disease. E-cigarettes reduce risks because the smoke from the vapors evaporates quickly and contains fewer chemicals. Non-smokers can feel comfortable being around e-cigarette users as there are no health risks to them.

Cigarette smoke can stay in the air for more than 30 minutes especially in a poorly ventilated room. The vapor from vapors and e-cigarettes dissolves within seconds and disappears. Most non-smokers get irritated by the uncomfortable smell of cigarettes. A traditional smoker's house has cigarette stains on the fabrics, which makes the house stuffy and uncomfortable for visitors or the people living with them.

E-cigarettes do not produce harmful chemicals when exhaled. E-liquids and e-juices contain ingredients that have become safe for the consumer during the e-cigarette manufacturing process. On the other hand, cigarettes release more than 7,000 chemicals once they are exhaled. This poses a threat to the environment. Vaping is safer.

Quitting vaping is easier than quitting traditional smoking. E-liquids give you the option to control your nicotine intake. This means that you can regulate your daily nicotine intake and continue to reduce the level as the days go by and eventually find yourself quitting smoking for good. Traditional smokers cannot regulate their nicotine intake unless they reduce the number of cigarettes, they smoke daily which is difficult as it is highly addictive.
